Day 1 Arrival
Hear those gentle trumpets welcome you to Sri Lanka. On Day 1, you arrive at the airport, and you will be met by one of our representatives who would be directing you towards the resort in Kandy. En route to your destination, you may opt to stop by an elephant orphanage, the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where the abandoned elephants are taken care of. The caretakers show the correct gestures of love are heart-melting. Watch them be bathed and fed and given aid if necessary. Complete your drive to the resort, check in and have a day full of leisure at your disposal. Watch out for the mesmerising city of Kandy, pass by the lake, the longest river and the fountains veiled by the fog afar. The fact that UNESCO had declared Kandy, you already land on a paradise at the very first day. Try out some local dishes for dinner and lunch there. Explore the city of Kandy a bit more by visiting one of the world heritage sights for the Buddhists and the Buddhist culture, Dalada Maligawa. Want to visit the true paradise? Visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens which has in store about 300 different varieties of orchids alone. Spice plants, medicinal plants, and the huge palm trees are other attractions. Store some excitement for the Gem Museum as you would be encountering the finest quality gems that are mined by Sri Lanka. What about a traditional dance cultural show in the evening?
Day 2 Transfer to Nuwara Eliya
How about some tea and golf? On Day 2, you leave for Nuwara Eliya, have a sumptuous breakfast and head for the famous city of lights in Sri Lanka. The nature with all its grace and blessings lie in repose here. The mountains, the valleys, the lush green meadows, and the enchanting forests are awaiting your visit. It is ideally known as the "Little England" as it poses for the spring-like weather all the year round and for the reason that it was one of the favorite places of the British rulers too. The fragrant tea plantations can also be found here. The wavy streams, Victoria Park, boating and fishing on Lake Gregory will satisfy your travel mania. Head towards a working tea factory where some of the world's most beautiful Orange Pekoe tea grow. Seetha Eliya temple visit will take you for a tour to the age of Ramayana. Take a look at the lowcountry lotus and water lily at the Haggala temperate hill-country garden.
Day 3 Visit Colombo
Get ready for your grand tour at Colombo. Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, is assigned for the fourth day of the 3 nights 4 days Sri Lanka package. Visit Galle Face Green, National Museum, Fort district, Twin World Trade Center towers, Independence Hall at Independence Square, Old Parliament Building, and prominent Buddhist, Hindu, Islam and Christian places of worship which are the pure evidence of real art and architecture dating right at the back to decades. Take a casual walk and shop at Odel, House of Fashion, Beverly Street, Majestic City, and Noritake. Colombo stores some real historical and architectural remains which cannot be afforded to be missed. Secularism rules the air of Columbia with the dominance of the Portuguese, Dutch, British, Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Indian and Contemporary architectural styles.
Day 4 Departure
We know it's hard to leave. On the last day of your visit to Sri Lanka, get ready to check out from the resort of Colombo and head to Kandy again. You may take some leisure time for your last-minute shopping or merely a casual walk down the alley. We then drop you at the airport.
