Day 1 Transfer to Kandy
Start your trip with gentle giants in Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. The first day of your Sri Lanka trip begins with your arrival in the country. We will transfer you to your city tour of Kandy. But before that, a small detour to a popular Sri Lankan attraction, the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage will give you look into the daily lives of orphaned, abandoned, and injured elephants within the park. Following your transfer, your city tour of the sacred city of Kandi commences with a visit to the Dalada Maligawa, the Temple of the Tooth. This sacred Buddha temple is a world heritage site in its own right. Next, the Peradeniya Botanical Garden awaits you with its enchanting varieties of plants and flowers. You can then check out the Gem Museum showcasing its collection of semi-precious gems and sapphires. End your day with a traditional cultural dance show and retreat to the Tree of Life Hotel for the rest of the night.
Day 2 Nuwara Eliya Sightseeing
Visit Lake Gregory and Victoria Park in Nuwara Eliya. Early next day, you will be transferred to the “Little England” of Sri Lanka, the scenic city of Nuwara Eliya. You will be taken through the major attractions of the town which include the Golf course and Victoria Park. There are trout streams to check out as well. You can spend a quiet evening at Lake Gregory while boating or fishing. Heard of the Orange Pekoe tea? Get a sneak peek at how it’s made in the local tea factory. You also have the option to add Seetha Eliya, a temple mentioned in the epic Ramayana, and Hakgala Gardens, a temperate hill-country garden highlighted by beautiful lotus flowers and water lilies.
Day 3 Transfer to Bentota
Wind down on the beaches of Bentota. On the third day of your trip, you will get to wind down in the city of Bentota. We will transfer you early in the morning to let you enjoy the city of Golden Beaches. Mark it as you beach day as you relax with your companions on the beach. Feel the warmth of the sun and the texture of the sand on your skin as your body slackens into rest. Let the waves crash against your body by indulging in the various sports available at the beach.
Day 4 Bentota City Tour
Boat through the beautiful Madhu River. Now that you’re energized by the last day’s Bentota beach time, you’ll go on a city tour to see the rest of this city. Start with a boat ride through the calm waters of the Madhu River. You will pass beautiful islets forested with mangroves and populated by unique flora and fauna. Add another excellent visit to your day by heading to the turtle hatchery. Baby turtles are cared for here and are supported until they are old enough to survive in the wild.
Day 5 Colombo City Tour
Explore the busy commercial city of Colombo. Have your breakfast the next day and get ready to be transferred to Sri Lanka’s largest city, Colombo. You will get to visit all the famous places in Colombo during your city tour like the Fort district, Viharamahadevi Park, Twin World Trade Center towers, Galle Face Green, Old Parliament Building, National Museum places of worship to name a few. You will get to visit Odel, House of Fashion, Beverly Street, Majestic City, Noritake and many more for your shopping urges in the sprawling commercial capital of Sri Lanka.
Day 6 Departure
End the trip and cherish your memories. Get out of your hotel early to catch a few rounds of Colombo before your departure. Get a few souvenirs or click a few pictures. When it's time, check out of the hotel and we will transfer you to the airport. Watch the beautiful island of Sri Lanka disappear in the clouds as you cherish the memories you have collected over the trip.
